FAQ – About Manuka Honey & Wellness

Is it okay to eat Manuka honey every day?

Absolutely! Many of our customers enjoy a small spoonful of Manuka honey daily—especially in the morning on an empty stomach. It’s a gentle way to support your general wellness and keep your immune system happy. Just remember: a little goes a long way.

Which MGO level is right for me?

Think of it like this:

→ great for daily support
→ ideal for times when your body needs something extra

Not sure where to start? MGO 263+ is a popular all-rounder.

Where is WildNature honey made?

All our honey is proudly sourced, packed, and tested right here in New Zealand. We work directly with trusted beekeepers and local facilities to ensure every jar is as pure and potent as nature intended.

How can I check the MGO test results for my jar?

Each WildNature product has a batch number printed on the label or jar. You’ll soon be able to enter this number on our website to view the independent lab test results, including MGO, DHA, and other key markers. (We’ll let you know when this feature goes live!)

How should I store Manuka honey?

Keep your jar in a cool, dry place—like a pantry. No need to refrigerate. Just make sure the lid is tightly closed after use. Properly stored, your honey will stay delicious for years.

Can kids take Manuka honey?

Yes, but only if they’re over 12 months old. Like all honey, Manuka honey isn’t safe for infants under 1 year due to natural bacteria risk. For older children, it can be a tasty and natural way to support wellbeing.

Does Manuka honey help with colds or immunity?

While we can’t make medical claims, Manuka honey has long been loved in New Zealand homes for soothing sore throats and supporting the immune system. Many people reach for it when they feel something coming on.

Can I use Manuka honey in cooking?

Sure! It’s perfect in teas, smoothies, salad dressings, or spread on toast. Just avoid high-heat cooking (like baking), as it may reduce some of the natural goodness.
